Imran Khan disqualified in Toshakhana reference

The Political race Commission of Pakistan (ECP) excluded PTI boss Imran Khan for a considerable length of time under Article 63(1)(p) for misdeclaration in the Toshakhana reference on Friday.

Article 63 (1) (p) of the Constitution expresses that an individual is, until further notice, precluded from being chosen or picked as an individual from the Majlis-e-Shoora (parliament) or of a commonplace gathering under any regulation for the time being in force.

A four-part seat, headed by Boss Political race Chief (CEC) Sikander King Raja, declared the decision at the ECP Secretariat in Islamabad.

As per the decision, criminal procedures will be started against Imran for misdeclaration.

He called the ECP's decision a "smack on the substance of 220 million individuals" and said, "Today is the start of the upset".
"Just anybody can't preclude Imran Khan. Just the public can do that," the PTI pioneer said.
